Some articles in the knowledge base for the control panel may refer to the legacy interface which we are updating over time. Please see in your portal for the latest inline documentation.
By default, accounts are setup on a pre-pay basis of which you can add credit via your portal account which is immediately added to your VoIP balance.

Customers that prefer to be billed on a post-pay arrangement should contact us via their portal so we can review the request and set a suitable credit limit where applicable.
